Surveen Chawla (born in Chandigarh, India) is a television actress.Surveen made her debut as Charu in the Balaji Telefilms serial Kahiin Hoga. She then played the role of Kasak in Kasauti Kay. She also played the lead role in Kaajjal – Sabkki Aankhon Mein , but has now parted ways with the show due to a new storyline.
Surveen was recently seen in the reality dance show Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena, where she paired up with Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth. The first of the three films, titled Carry On Pandu, will see her playing the female lead opposite Ranvir Shorey.She is currently hosting Comedy Circus ke Superstars on Sony.
Surveen Chawla is a small screen actress born in Chandigarh, India but soon moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting. Until her 10th standard she wanted to practice medicine, but she took up commerce in 12th and ended up graduating in arts. Initially her family was very reluctant to send her to mumbai to act and they were shocked when they came to know about this. She was hardly four days old to mumbai when she heard of the auditions that were being held by Balaji telefilms. She went there and after two days, she got a call saying that she had been selected to play the role of Charu in Kahiin To Hoga. She got a role as Kasak in 'Kasauti zindagi ki' She also played the lead role in Kaajjal- sabki aankhon mein bhasi but has now parted ways with the show due to a new storyline.
